Jackie, is one of our beloved hand-raised magpies. Jackie had a playful personality and loved to nibble on people’s shoelaces, and if you had your ankles showing, he would happily nibble those too! He started to noticed that I would laugh when he nibbled my ankles and enjoyed watching me laugh so whenever I stopped laughing he would start to tickle my ankles again.
Jackie was able to be released back into the wild, but despite being a male, Jackie took on the role of a devoted parent to orphaned baby magpies. He would feed them whenever they cried out for their mum and regularly checked in on them, showcasing his nurturing spirit.- Choosing a selection results in a full page refresh.
